Support the learner through the full duration of the program, including training and on-the-job project work, with a clear intention to convert them to full-time employment.

What is the AWS Career Launchpad with Trainocate Program? 

The AWS Career Launchpad with Trainocate Program combines structured training for in-demand tech roles with contract for service hires aiming to achieve long-term employment.  Participants will receive hands-on experience, industry-recognized certifications, and dedicated mentorship. 

Is AWS Career Launchpad with Trainocate Program a full-time program? 

Yes, it is a full-time program that includes both training and job placement. Participants are expected to commit for the full duration of the program. 

What is the duration of the program?

The program consists of 3 months of training, whilst being in a job placement lasting up to 12 months.

Who can apply for the Who can apply for this program?

Applicants must be Singapore Citizens or PRs and actively seeking employment or career transition. 

This rigorous program requires a solid understanding of technical concepts. Preferred candidates have experience in technology fields such as security, data, or engineering, including past certifications or personal/professional tech projects.

Is there an application fee or course fee? 

No, there is no application or course fee. The program is supported by funding that covers course fees for job seekers who commit fully — including attending classes, completing projects, and obtaining certification. 

Is this program suitable for someone with existing AWS certifications?

Prior AWS certifications provide a valuable foundation, as this program offers both fundamental and advanced skills along with practical project experience. 

Am I eligible if I have joined other government placement programs before? 

The program prioritizes job seekers who have not previously benefited from government-funded initiatives in the same industry. If you are shortlisted, additional clarifications may be requested to support your application.  

How do I apply?

Is there any leave entitlement during the course?

How does this program match me with jobs?

There are 3 phases in the matching process:  

  1. Registration and Qualifying Interviews – Candidates can indicate preference for placement partners that are offering roles through this program.  
  2. Matching – Candidate profiles will be shared with placement partners and shortlisted candidates will be informed for interview.  
  3. Successful Match – A match occurs when your complete partner interviews and accepts an offer. 
What happens after I submit my application?

There are 4 key stages in the application process:  

  1. If your application is shortlisted, you will be informed of a qualifying interview.
  2. Matching process will ensue. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to interviews with placement partners. Preference will be prioritized.  
  3. Successful matches will be acknowledged by a tripartite agreement between Trainocate, the placement partner and yourself.  
  4. You will attend the onboarding session and kickstart your new role. 
Do I need to resign from my current job to join AWS Career Launchpad with Trainocate Program? 

Yes, as this is a full-time commitment, you will need to resign from your current position if accepted into the program. 

Will I be provided with a laptop or are there hardware requirements? 

Participants are expected to use their own laptops that meet the program’s minimum tech specs. Specific requirements will be provided upon acceptance.

Will I be working while training? 

Yes. The program includes structured training and hands-on project work with your matched employer. Participants are expected to commit to the program duration, attend classes, complete assignments and certifications while executing projects assigned by the placement partners. 

How will my performance be tracked? 

Trainocate conducts check-ins at three key points during the program to provide support and ensure mutual commitment between learners and employers.   

Is there flexible working and learning arrangements? 

Classes take place in person, and assignments are completed independently. Work arrangements may differ based on project requirements and placement partner agreements. 

How should I factor my notice period into the scheduling of upcoming batches or onboarding timelines?  

This program operates in batches. Please ensure there is sufficient time between your application and the next batch intake to accommodate your notice period.   If your application does not align with the timeline for the current batch, it will automatically be considered for the subsequent intake. 

Will I be guaranteed a job after the program? 

While job placement is part of the program, full-time employment is dependent on your performance. Employers confirm continued employment around 1.5 months before program completion. 

What kind of employment can I expect after the program?

Graduates will transition into full-time roles aligned with the skills gained during the program. 

What should I do if I’m not ready for the current batch?
