Trainocate Partners with FITIS to Revolutionize Tech Education in Sri Lanka

In a groundbreaking move to transform technology education in Sri Lanka, Trainocate Lanka (Private) Limited has forged a strategic partnership with the Federation of Information Technology Industry Sri Lanka (FITIS). This collaboration formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed on August 20, 2024, marks a pivotal step in advancing the SriLankanization program-an initiative committed to upskilling 10,000 professionals in cutting-edge technologies, including Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Security, Azure, and the Microsoft 365 Suite.

FITIS: A Strategic Partner

FITIS, as Trainocate's strategic partner, plays a crucial role in driving the SriLankanization initiative. Their extensive network and influence in the IT sector enable seamless integration of industry-focused training and certifications, aligning with national goals to foster innovation and economic growth.

ESOFT: Empowering Students Under the FITIS Portfolio

As part of this partnership, ESOFT, a leading educational institute and member of the FITIS portfolio, has also entered into a MoU with FITIS. Through this agreement, all ESOFT Higher National Diploma in Information Technology (HND-IT) students will gain exclusive access to Trainocate's RESET learning platform. This will provide them with industry-demanding skills, preparing them for the workforce even before graduation.

Bridging Academia and Industry

The SriLankanization program is designed to bridge the gap between academia and the evolving needs of the tech industry. By integrating advanced training programs into educational curricula, the initiative ensures students and professionals are equipped with the latest technological expertise.

Milestones Achieved

More than 10 students have successfully completed at least three Microsoft Fundamentals trainings on the RESET platform. Out of these, one student has secured an internship at a leading IT partner in the region through Trainocate's extensive network. The partnership's success is underscored by significant milestones achieved through the FITIS eLearning platform:

  • Users Engaged: Over 334 users actively participated in the program.
