Will be working under the supervision of the Manager -Technical Development, the duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Design, develop, test and document contents based on the requirement provided to them
- Preparing detailed technical documents that clearly state each step involved in developing single/cross vendor solutions
- Highlight the missing steps, values and any inconsistency identified during the proof-reading of the technical contents such as lab guides, technical guides, presentation decks, etc
- Assist and Support trainers and students during a live class across different regions and time zones
- Monitor, diagnose, resolve complex network and computer system issues
- Manage and administer servers, networks and applications such as DNS, DHCP, FTP, Web, etc
- Maintain internal network structure of a datacenter by managing routers and keeping them running
- Install, configure, maintain switches, servers, firewalls and hard drives
- Troubleshoot network systems to identify and fix performance issues
- Provide solutions to complex problems on the integration of various technologies
- Design plans as well as lead initiatives for the optimization and restructuring of network architecture
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of network administration and firmware integration
- Monitor the environmental conditions of a data center to ensure they are optimum for servers, routers, and other devices
- Perform system repairs and update software/operating systems
- Calibrate and monitor data center servers to ensure efficient performance
- Collaborate with IT handlers, IT heads to develop action plans for improved operations
- Conduct inspections on power and cooling systems to ensure they are operational and efficient
- Organize the floor space that harbor datacenter equipment to allow for easy accessibility
- Resolve operational, infrastructure or hardware incidents in a data center
- Meet 24x7 On-Call requirements and response
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines as a team member and as efficient individual contributor
- Validating content for accuracy and usability using support communications
- Other miscellaneous tasks within company and job portfolio

- Adhere shift-based work timings. Flexibility in work timings is utmost important
- Adept at conducting tests to identify faults in the server hardware and network systems
- Able to work in a diverse team across geographical boundaries
- Able to work with/as data center support to ensure smooth work operations
- Capable at completing job/tasks effectively and efficiently within set time constraints
- Ensure all company policies are abided
