The PECB Certified ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer training course provides participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to implement and continually improve an Information Security Management System (ISMS) based on the requirements of ISO/IEC 27001. The course covers the key principles, best practices, and approaches for establishing, managing, maintaining, and improving an effective ISMS.
Through practical exercises, case studies, multiple-choice quizzes, and scenario-based activities, participants gain hands-on experience that can be applied to real-world information security challenges and day-to-day operations. The training goes beyond explaining the requirements of ISO/IEC 27001 by demonstrating how to practically implement them within an organisation.
Upon successful completion of the training and examination, participants can apply for the PECB Certified ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer credential, demonstrating their competence to establish, implement, manage, and continually improve an information security management system.
Explain the fundamental concepts and principles of an information security management system (ISMS) based on ISO/IEC27001 Interpret the ISO/IEC 27001 requirements for an ISMS from the perspective of an implementer Initiate and plan the implementation of an ISMS based on ISO/IEC 27001, by utilizing PECB’s IMS2 Methodology and other best practices Support an organization in operating, maintaining, and continually improving an ISMS based on ISO/IEC 27001 Prepare an organization to undergo a third-party certification audit
