The PECB Certified ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor training course provides participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to audit an Information Security Management System (ISMS) based on ISO/IEC 27001. The course focuses on planning, conducting, managing, and closing internal and external audits in accordance with ISO 19011 and the ISO/IEC 17021-1 certification process.
Through practical exercises, case studies, and scenario-based activities, participants will develop hands-on expertise in audit techniques, audit programme management, leading audit teams, communicating with clients, and handling conflicts effectively. The training goes beyond explaining the requirements of ISO/IEC 27001 by demonstrating how to apply them in real-world auditing situations.
Upon successful completion of the training and examination, participants can apply for the PECB Certified ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor credential, demonstrating their competence and capability to conduct audits of information security management systems in accordance with recognised best practices.
