The Oracle Solaris 11 Zones Administration training is an advanced course offering that builds on Oracle Solaris 11 system administration courses. Learn To: Plan infrastructure consolidation using zone. Configure nonglobal zones including: solaris native zones, solaris10 zones, and kernel zones. Administer zones. Migrate global and nonglobal zones. Manage zone resources including: CPUs, memory, networks, and storage. Optimize zones. Troubleshoot zone problems. Throughout the course, you'll practice server virtualization by performing a series of guided hands-on labs that walk you through the critical tasks associated with server and network virtualization activities. Participate in Hands-On Labs These labs include case studies that showcase best practices when deploying Oracle Solaris Zones server virtualization technology. This course does not address system virtualization related tasks specific to Solaris 10 (or other) operating systems. Rather, it focuses on thevirtualization technology as implemented in the Oracle Solaris 11 operating system. Cloud Application Certifications: Valid for 18 months from the date of passing the exam. To maintain your credential, you must take the Delta version of the exam before the 18 months expire.
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Certifications: OCI certification credentials are now valid for 2 years (previously 18 months), enabling users to learn and certify on multiple OCI technologies.
Oracle Database Certifications: If you hold a retiring Oracle Database credential that requires recertification, you must upgrade to a current version within twelve (12) months following retirement to keep your credential in active status.
