Overview

The Enterprise Cloud Administration (ECA) course is an intermediate-level program designed for IT professionals with prior experience administering Nutanix environments. Focusing on Prism Central, the course provides in-depth knowledge of Nutanix cluster administration, centralized management, networking, storage, virtual machine management, workload migration, performance monitoring, and lifecycle management. Participants will gain the skills required to efficiently manage, monitor, and optimize Nutanix enterprise cloud infrastructure using Nutanix's centralized management platform.

What You'll Learn

  • Understanding core Nutanix concepts, such as hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) and the various Nutanix cloud solution packages. Also, the basic configuration of a cluster and the components needed to create and manage VMs – namely, networks and images.
  • Creating and managing VMs, how to protect VMs and their data, how to apply storage optimization features at the VM level, and how to migrate your workloads to a Nutanix environment.
  • Learn about alerts, events, log collection, reporting, and how to use various features in Prism Central to identify, analyze, and remediate performance issues.
  • Learn how to set up a cluster for maintenance activities – such as starting and stopping nodes and clusters – and how to manage and upgrade licenses and installed software with just a few clicks.

  • How long is Nutanix certification valid for?

    Nutanix certifications are valid for two years from the date you pass the exam.

    To maintain your certification, you must recertify within those two years. Recertification options include:

    - Passing a higher-level exam within the same track.

    - Passing a professional-level exam in a different track.
