Red Hat Certificate of Expertise in Enterprise Deployment and Systems Management Exam - is a performance-based test of the skills covered in the Red Hat Enterprise Deployment and Systems Management (RH401) course. To enroll in this exam, candidates must be a currentRed Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE®).
An RHCE that passes this exam will have earned a Certificate of Expertise, which counts toward earning a Red Hat Certified Datacenter Specialist (RHCDS) and Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA) certification.

- Red Hat Certificate of Expertise in Enterprise Deployment and Systems Management Exam Experienced Linux® system administrators responsible for the planning, deployment, and management of more than 1 physical or virtualized server
- An RHCE interested in earning a Red Hat Certification of Expertise, or an RHCDS or RHCA credential
- Hold a current RHCE certification at the time the exam is taken.
- Have Red Hat Enterprise Deployment and Systems Management (RH401) or equivalent experience.
- Understand that real-world system administration experience is also an important aspect of preparation for the exam.
