The Step into Robotic Process Automation (RPA) course intends to introduce RPA to students. The course assumes no prior knowledge of RPA and takes a use-case-based approach. It begins by defining a real-world, generic problem and how it's solved in a non-RPA environment. The course then teaches skills that enable the students to create a robot using free UiPath software (Academic Alliance Edition) to automate the solution. The course is approximately 4 hours in duration.

Objectives

Upon successful completion of this course, students should be able to:

  • Understand the basics of Robotic Process Automation
  • Identify processes that can be automated
  • Develop and deploy basic robots independently using UiPath Studio/StudioX

Content

The course comprises 4-hours of theory and labs in Studio and StudioX each. It's divided into four different modules. As a student progresses across modules, he builds on the skills and knowledge acquired in the previous module to learn advanced concepts:
