DNACPRM10 - Cisco DNA Center Programmability v1.0

Overview

Duration: 2 days

With Cisco DNA Center being the heart of Cisco‚Äôs intent-based network architecture, it supports the expression of business intent for network use cases, such as base automation capabilities in the enterprise network. From this workshop, the participants will be able to explore the opportunity of  programmability using the various APIs available on DNAC, to automate tasks, collect data for analysis and troubleshoot. At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to demonstrate their understanding on APIs and how to utilize the APIs of the DNAC to manage, operate and troubleshoot enterprise networks.

b. Network Device Analytics, insights and Monitoring 

  • Monitoring network health and device reachability status 
  • Understanding the CPU and memory utilization of DNA Center devices with the historical data 

c. Events and Notifications 

  • Notification triggered by DNA Center assurance events, are sent to WhatsApp 
  • High CPU/memory utilization of devices sent to WhatsApp with custom notification

Prerequisites

  • Good understanding in deploying, configuring, managing and monitoring Enterprise networks and/or CCNA/CCNP certified would be recommended. ?
  • Knowledge of python would be an added advantage. 
  • To test one lab, participants will be required to use their mobile number as it requires Whatsapp and Text message notification to be sent to their mobile number
